Sale of Town Property - former Belle River Water owner site It is recommended that: 1. Council direct administration to proceed with a Town-initiated rezoning of the former Belle River water tower site from Institutional, to Residential, and; 2. Council authorize Administration to offer this property for sale by public sealed tender in accordance with its Sale and Disposal of Land Policy.
Exemption from Noise By-law 106-2007 Ministry of Transportation It is recommended that: Council grant the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and its contractors an exemption from Noise By-law 106-2007 to allow for 24 hour construction activity during the period commencing May 1, 2016 through to December 31, 2017. The exemption is to allow for the works on the Highway 401 eastbound lanes for approximately 16.8 km to 0.9 km east of Essex Road 42 to 4.4 km east of Merlin Road, and 12.5 km of the westbound lanes from Merlin Road to 0.6 km east to Bloomfield Road, between Essex Road 42 and Merlin Rd.
Deferral of Tree Preservation Bylaw It is recommended that: It is recommended that Council defer direction to administration to draft a new Lakeshore Tree Preservation Bylaw pending the release of a comprehensive forest clear cutting proposal currently under development by the Essex Region Conservation Authority.
Fill Bylaw - Amendments It is recommended that Council give three readings to Bylaw 88-2015 to amend Bylaw 24-2011, "The Regulation of the Placing or Dumping of Fill, alteration of the grade of, or removal of topsoil from land within the Town of Lakeshore".
MURF - Phase II - Quotes for a Multi Use Path and Pedestrian Bridge It is recommended that Council: 1. Authorize administration to approve the proposed change order to widen the west Atlas Tube Centre path to 3m (Granular B) from 1.5m for the amount of $27,700 (plus HST), to be funded from the Phase II project contingency, and; 2. Authorize administration to approve a proposed change order to order a pedestrian in 2015 bridge for installation in 2016 over the 4th Concession Drain for an amount of $152,640 (net HST), to be a first charge against the 2016 budget, and; 3. Authorize administration to issue a change order to asphalt the 120m section of the soccer path for an amount of $10,360 (plus HST), to be funded from the soccer field project contingency
