Community and Development Services Report from administration re: a) Proposed Amy Croft Secondary Plan and Wallace Woods Secondary Plan It is recommended that: 1. Council authorize the Amy Croft Secondary Plan to be undertaken as part of the 5 Year Official Plan Review; and 2. Council authorize the Wallace Woods Secondary Plan to be undertaken as part of the 5 Year Official Plan Review. b) Celebrate Canada Grant / It is recommended that: 1. Council authorize administration to apply for the Celebrate Canada Grant for the Canada Day 2017 event. 2. Council authorize administration to apply annually for the Celebrate Canada Grant for up to 50% of the anticipated costs.
Chief Administrative Officer Report from administration re: 2016 - 2018 Strategic Action Work Plan - 2016 Actions Status / It is recommended that: Council receive this report for information regarding the 2016-2018 Strategic Action Work Plan - 2016 Actions Status.
Notice of Motion A Notice of Motion was presented by Councillor Diemer at the October 25, 2016 meeting of Council for consideration at the November 7, 2016 regular meeting of Council. / WHEREAS Council passed a resolution on December 9, 2014 to declare a moratorium on any future wind turbine projects and declared that the Town of Lakeshore (Lakeshore) is not a willing host municipality for wind turbine projects which are beyond the areas already supported by Council; AND WHEREAS Council has since received requests from energy companies seeking support of additional wind turbines to be located in areas previously supported by Council; AND WHEREAS Council wishes to strengthen the existing moratorium to not allow or support any further wind turbines to be located in Lakeshore; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that effective immediately Lakeshore is not a willing host municipality to any further wind turbines or wind turbine projects and Council will not consider or support any further requests.
Question Period Members shall be governed by the following rules: a) Each member shall be limited to 3 minutes b) Questions shall be of general municipal concern, which may require a report from administration and do not require public consultation c) Matters raised in question period shall not be debated d) A motion of council is required for all administrative reports to Council e) Administration will track council questions on the council tracking report f) The chair may not allow a question in question period that should more properly be addressed to administration during regular business hours.
Non- Agenda Business Matters of a minor and urgent nature that require a Council decision may be brought forward by a member of Council under Non-Agenda Business.

Resolution Re: Council in Closed Session and Adjournment / It is recommended that: Council move into closed session at p.m. in accordance with section 239 (2) b) of the Municipal Act to discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual. / It is recommended that: Council move out of closed session at p.m. / That Lakeshore Council adjourn its meeting at p.m. and that Lakeshore Council authorize itself to meet in Closed Session prior to the next Regular Council Meeting to discuss any matters permitted by the Municipal Act to be considered at a Closed Meeting.
