Community and Development Services Report from administration re: a) Community Policing Partnerships Program ( Renewal), and Safer Communities — 1000 Officers Program ( Renewal). It is recommended that: 1. Council adopt By-law # 42- 2017 being a By-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the one year renewal ( April 1, 2017 - March 31, 2018) of the Community Policing Partnerships ( CPP) Programme. 2. Council adopt By-law # 43- 2017 being a By-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the one year renewal ( April 1, 2017 - March 31, 2018) of the Safer Communities- 1000 Officers ( 1000 Officers) Programme. b) Marina Security Contract Award It is recommended that: 1. Council award a two year contract for marina security services to the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires in an annual amount not to exceed $ 34,020, and; 2. Council authorize an over -expenditure in the Marina -Security account in the amount of $2, 520 in 2017, and; 3. Council give three ( 3) readings to By-law 45-2017, being a By-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to affix their signatures to the
Chief Administrative Officer Report from administration re: a) Designation of Community Event It is recommended that: 1. The Sunsplash event scheduled for July 14, 15 and 16, 2017 is designated as a Community Festival.
Notice of Motion a) Notice of Motion submitted by Councillor Bailey for consideration on May 23, 2017 That: Council receive the petition submitted by Councillor Bailey on behalf of the residents requesting an temporary halt to the erosion measures being undertaken at Ruscom Beach.
Question Period Members shall be governed by the following rules: a) Each member shall be limited to 3 minutes b) Questions shall be of general municipal concern, which may require a report from administration and do not require public consultation c) Matters raised in question period shall not be debated d) A motion of council is required for all administrative reports to Council e) Administration will track council questions on the council tracking report f) The chair may not allow a question in question period that should more properly be addressed to administration during regular business hours.

Reading of By-laws i) General By-laws That by-law 42-2017, 43-2017, 44-2017 and 45-2017 be read a first, second and third time and finally adopted this 23`d day of May, 2017. a) By- law 42-2017, being a By-law to authorize the execution of the Community Policing Partnerships Renewal Agreement between the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services of Ontario and the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore and Lakeshore Police Services Board. b) By-law 43-2017, being a By- law to authorize the execution of an amending agreement for the Safer Communities — 1, 000 Officer Partnership Program between the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services of Ontario and the Corporation of the Town of Lakeshore and Lakeshore Police Services Board. c) By- law 44-2017, being a By-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Town of Lakeshore. d) By-law 45-2017, being a By- law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires for Marina Security Services.
Resolution Re: Council in Closed Session and Adjournment Council move into closed session at p.m. in accordance with the Municipal Act section 239 2) b) and e) to review applications for committee appointments and discuss personal matters about an identifiable individual including municipal or local board employees and to discuss a potential litigation regarding a claim for compensation related to loss of privacy, security and quiet enjoyment of property. Council move out of closed session at p.m. That Lakeshore Council adjourn its meeting at p.m. and that Lakeshore Council authorize itself to meet in Closed Session prior to the next Regular Council Meeting to discuss any matters permitted by the Municipal Act to be considered at a Closed Meeting.
