Community and Development Services Report from administration re: a) MURF Project — Phase 1 — Aquicon — Final Payment It is recommended that: 1. Council authorize payment to Aquicon Construction Co. Ltd. Aquicon) in the amount of $50, 849. 04 ($ 44,999. 15 plus HST) for completion of the contract to construct Phase I of the MURF Project, and; 2. Council approve a capital over -expenditure of $44,999. 15 in the Atlas Tube Centre budget centre to be funded from current revenue.
Engineering and Infrastructure Services a) West River Street ( Notre Dame to Caille) Project — Notre Dame St. & West River St. Intersection Improvements Class EA Update It is recommended that: 1. Council supports moving forward with the Notre Dame St & West River St Intersection Improvements Class Environmental Assessment study to present information on the preferred alternative solution at Public Information Center for public and agency input. b) Old Tecumseh Rd. Trail — County Rd 22 ( E. Pike Creek to County Rd 22) — Design Update & Estimated Construction Cost Estimate FA It is recommended that: 1. Council receive the attached report for information purposes. 2. Council adopts the final preferred design for the Old Tecumseh Trail c) CWATS — 2018 Proposed Submission — Old Tecumseh Trail County Road 2 ( E. Pike Creek to County Road 22). It is recommended that: 1. Council approves the following project for submission to the County Wide Active Transportation ( CWATS) Committee for consideration in 2018: a. Construction of a portion of the Lake -11 Old Tecumseh Trail — along County Road 2 (from E. Pike Creek to County Road 22) 2. Council support the submission of the application of declaration under the Ontario Municipal Commuter Cycling (OMMC) Program for funding of eligible projects identified by the Town for the Old Tecumseh Road Trail.

Authorize Administration to undertake a request for proposal to engage the services of an Integrity Commissioner for the Town of Lakeshore and provide a further report to Council regarding details of an agreement at a later date.

Notice of Motion a) Notice of motion introduced by Councillor Diemer at the July 11, 2017 meeting of Council for consideration at the September 12, 2017 meeting.+3 That: Whereas, the County of Essex recently undertook road rehabilitation work along County Road 27 without adding a trail And Whereas, it is County policy to install a trail on both sides of the road when the area can accommodate a double trail And Whereas, the County policy also states that if there is not room to install a trail on both sides of the road, a single trail on one side of the road will not be considered And Whereas, when there is a request for a trail along a County road, serious consideration should be given to install at a minimum a single trail. Now therefore be it resolved that the Town of Lakeshore requests the County of Essex to consider the placement of a single trail along County Road 27 in the Community of Woodslee, Town of Lakeshore.
