Community and Development Services Report from administration re: a) Removal of Holding Symbol (File: ZBA-5-2018), Doro Vitella, Anna Maria Vitella, Christine Francis Migliore, Kathy Ann Vinton and Lisa Maire Fuhst, c/o Valente Property Corp, 1654 Manning Road. It is recommended that: 1. Council adopt By-law #12-2018 (ZBA-5-2018) to remove the Holding Symbol (hi) from 1654 Manning Road, from Mixed Use, MU (hi) "Holding Zone", to Mixed Use, MU Zone. b) Property Standards By-law Amendment - Unoccupied Buildings and Properties. It is recommended that: 1. Council give three readings to By-law 23-2018, to establish a new Property Standards By-Law and repeal any previous Property Standards By-Laws that were in effect. c) Renewal of the Agreement-Independent Order of the Daughters of the Empire (I.O.D.E), for use of the Comber Community Centre. It is recommended that: 1. Council renew the Agreement between the Town of Lakeshore and the Independent Order of the Daughters of the Empire (I.O.D.E.) for a second twenty year term ending October 20, 2037 for an annual fee of five dollars the for use of the Comber Community Centre, and; 2. Council give three readings to By-law 25-2018, being a by-law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to affix their signatures to a renewal agreement with the Independent Order of the Daughters of the Empire (I.O.D.E.).
Engineering and Infrastructure Services Report from administration re: a) Tender Award - Environmental Services Vehicle Replacement It is recommended that: 1. Council award the tender for the purchase of a 4x2 cab and chassis with 11 ft enclosed service body to Lally Sales and Service in the total amount of $93,007.49 plus applicable taxes; and 2. Council approve the over expenditure in the amount of $5,644 to be funded from the Water Budget centre revenue fund.
Chief Administrative Officer Report from administration re: a) Director of Legislative and Legal Services / It is recommended that: 1. Council approve funding for the position of Director of Legislative and Legal Services. b) By-law to Appoint Weed Inspectors / It is recommended that: Council give three readings to by-law 28-2018 to confirm the appointment of Weed Inspectors for the Town of Lakeshore. c) Dog Pound Committee Request for Municipal Input It is recommended that: 1.
