Belle River Marina Restaurant - Adjustment to Monthly Rent Recommendation: Approve the corrected and reduced 2020 monthly rent for the Belle River Marina Restaurant space of $1,711.95 plus HST, as presented at the December 8, 2020 Council meeting. h. Transit Options Recommendation: Direct Administration to include a review of local and inter-municipal transit options to support economic development and sustainable community development as part of the 2021 work plan; and, Authorize the Treasurer to transfer $60,000 from the Plans and Studies Reserve to support a transit service options study and return to Council by the end of Q3 2021.
Notices of Motion a. Notice of Motion submitted by Councillor Walstedt - Greenhouse Light and Odour Pollution By-law Recommendation: Whereas there has been a large increase in greenhouse construction in our neighbouring municipalities with the distinct possibility of this large scale construction expanding into Lakeshore in the near future; And whereas light and odour pollution from these greenhouses is a serious issue that is being addressed by our neighbouring municipalities with the passing of light and odour pollution control bylaws; Therefore, be it resolved that Administration be directed to bring forth a by-law to control light and odour pollution from greenhouses and similar facilities in the municipality of Lakeshore for Council’s consideration at its January 12, 2021 regular Council meeting. b. Notice of Motion submitted by Councillor McKinlay - New Solar Lights in Comber Community Park Recommendation: Approve the purchase of 23 new solar lights to be installed on the existing light poles in the Comber Community Park, and Approve a maximum of $50,000 to be transferred from the Community Benefit Fund reserve to finance the cost of the project.
